Kevin grew up in Virginia and graduated from VCU’s advertising program the year before the Brand Center opened its doors. He started his career in Richmond before spending time in Pittsburgh and Austin, and in 1998 came home to work at the Martin Agency. During his 24 years at Martin he’s worked on nearly every account at one point or another, but spent the majority of his time as the creative leader of the Discover Card account. Since 2020 Kevin has helped launch the Be Unstoppable campaign for UPS, and led creative teams across the U.S., Germany, Brazil and China.
Kevin is comfortable exercising his right-brain as an art director and creator but is just as comfortable in the left-brain world of analytics and strategic thinking. He enjoys working closely with planners on insights and with clients on understanding the mechanics of their business. He knows that the best creative ideas are rooted in a deep understanding of the business and what drives its customers.
When not working, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, writing short bios about himself in the third person and wishing he could dunk a basketball. Just once.
